The guy behind the toolbox.
Jeremy — The Handy Husband KC I like fixing things and I like being straight with people. Turns out that is a business.
I am Jeremy Harrison, and I have been fixing things for about 30 years. I started The Handy Husband KC around Kansas City because I kept hearing the same story from neighbors. They got overcharged, ghosted, or talked to like they were dumb for not knowing the difference between a flapper and a fill valve. That is a low bar to clear and somehow half the industry trips over it.
So my whole pitch is boring on purpose. Show up when I say. Charge what I quote. Do the work right. Clean up after myself. And when a job genuinely needs a licensed plumber, electrician, or HVAC tech, say so out loud instead of fumbling through it and hoping. A handyman who knows his lane saves you money. A handyman who learns yours by accident costs you a ceiling.
I do a little of everything in that wide, useful middle of home repair, and I would rather earn the kind of trust where you save my number and tell your neighbor about me. That is the whole plan. So far it is working.
