Repairs & Finishing

Patches you never see again, and paint that actually matches.

Minor drywall repair and patching, texture matching, small interior painting and touch-ups, and the little finishing fixes that make a room look cared for.

What I Cover

The honest scope

This is the finishing work, the stuff that is visible forever, so it is worth getting right. After 30 years the difference shows up in the details: a patch that disappears instead of catching the light, and paint that actually blends. Full-room repaints and big projects I will scope honestly or hand to a painter.

Drywall Patching

Holes, cracks, dings, and doorknob dents patched and smoothed so the wall looks like nothing ever happened.

Texture Matching

The part most people get wrong. I feather it out, match the texture, prime, and paint so the repair disappears.

Interior Painting (Minor)

Touch-ups, single walls, trim, and small painting jobs done clean with sharp lines. Whole-house repaints I will refer to a painter.

Caulk & Trim

Gaps caulked, loose trim re-secured, and the small finishing details that make a room feel done.

The "Been Bugging Me" List

Sticking doors, loose hardware, squeaks, and the small fixes you keep meaning to get to. Bundle them into one visit and save.

Repairs & Finishing: common questions

Can you match my wall texture when you patch drywall?
Yes, and it is the part most people get wrong. I feather the patch, match the texture, prime, and paint so it disappears instead of leaving a spot that catches the light forever.
Do you do interior painting?
Minor painting: touch-ups, single walls, trim, and small rooms. For a whole-house repaint I will point you to a dedicated painter, because that is its own trade and you want it done right.
Why does my drywall keep cracking in my KC home?
Kansas City humidity swings and freeze-thaw winters make homes settle and shift, which cracks drywall at corners, ceilings, and seams. Most hairline cracks are cosmetic. If one keeps coming back or comes with a stain, there may be a moisture source worth checking first.
Can you fix several small things in one visit?
That is the whole idea. Bundling a list into one trip is far cheaper than booking each fix separately. Clear the work areas, have the list ready, and we will fly through it.
